Connection and Discovery Across Victoria and NSW

Can you remember a time you tried something new and it just clicked? That moment of discovery, confidence, and pure joy has been happening these school holidays across our Mirabel programs, from creative workshops in Melbourne to adventure camps in NSW and family gatherings in regional Victoria.
Building Community Through Diverse Experiences
July has been a particularly busy month for our teams, with programs running across both states and age groups. In Melbourne, a group of Mirabel teens explored street art through a guided tour and graffiti workshop, discovering new ways to express themselves and share their stories.
Our NSW teens brought incredible energy to a two-day adventure camp at The Tops, tackling everything from flying fox challenges to abseiling. Many were experiencing their first Mirabel teens camp, but the enthusiasm and support they showed for each other created an atmosphere where everyone felt brave enough to try new things.
Meanwhile, our Melbourne Urban Camp gave regional young people the chance to experience big city adventures – from zoo visits and ice-skating to learning circus tricks.
And in regional Victoria, Mirabel families gathered for our Family Fun Day, sharing a BBQ lunch and giving carers the opportunity to connect with our team and each other. These gatherings are vital for building the support networks that help families thrive.
Looking Forward
As we reflect on these recent adventures, we're reminded that childhood should be filled with laughter, discovery, and the freedom to try new things. It should be about finding your people and building the confidence to take on whatever comes next.
Every activity, every new friendship formed, and every moment of joy matters in shaping positive futures for our young people.
